Michael Toppi, a senior at Viera High in Florida and a Florida State commit, joins DyeStat's Todd Grasley to talk about competing in the Eastbay Cross Country Championships on Dec. 11 at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Toppi is one of five male athletes to compete in both the gold race Dec. 4 at the Garmin RunningLane Championships at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala., along with the Eastbay final. He ran the fastest 5-kilometer cross country race in Florida prep history at RunningLane by clocking 14:41.45 to place 29th overall.
